Eliminate Telnet vulnerabilities use VShell®
and SecureCRT® for secure remote access
Below are just a few vulnerabilities that your company may be susceptible to if you are using Telnet for shell access to your servers:
- all usernames, passwords, and data are sent over the public network
in clear text
- a user with an account on the system could gain elevated privileges
- a remote attacker could crash the Telnet service, preventing legitimate
use of that service
- a remote attacker could find an enabled Guest account which may be
present anywhere within a server's trusted domains
VShell and SecureCRT provide secure remote access to your network, encrypting
both passwords and data, as well as eliminating these and other known
vulnerabilities.
