VanDyke Software security products are available worldwide under
U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security regulations
governing strong encryption software. Other countries may impose import restrictions as well.
SecureCRT, SecureFX, VShell, and VanDyke ClientPack Export
SecureCRT, SecureFX, VShell, and VanDyke ClientPack licenses can be sold to customers worldwide under the unrestricted status provisions of the "ENC" export license exemption. Under ENC rules, export licenses are not required. The export control classification number (ECCN) is 5D992.
Unrestricted export status allows export to individuals, companies, and foreign government users, with an export check for denied parties. Export is not allowed to countries where commerce is prohibited under U.S. trade sanctions or to certain individuals and companies — see Sanctioned Countries and Denied Parties below.
Exports to U.S. Subsidiaries & Foreign Companies
Wholly-owned subsidiaries of U.S. companies may export all VanDyke
secure products to any country other than to countries where commerce
is prohibited under U.S. trade sanctions or to certain individuals and
companies — see Sanctioned Countries and Denied Parties below.
Under ENC rules, export licenses are not required. The ECCN is 5D992.
Sanctioned Countries and Denied Parties
The U.S. Departments of State, Treasury, and Commerce maintain
lists of companies, organizations, and individuals with which U.S.
companies are prohibited from trading. VanDyke is required to screen
all export sales against these lists. Orders may be cancelled based
on screening results.
